Wordle.net

While I did like the Wordle.net’s results I found using Wordle to be a somewhat difficult process. Finding a browser set up that can still run Wordle is surprisingly difficult. I fortunately had a legacy version of Internet Explorer on a laptop I could run the correct legacy version of Java on in order to use Worlde. Once I got Wordle to run I had some issues surrounding what Wordle considered a word. Some of my plans to include the state with the city in the Wordle of Cities Money was Raised In and the A Wordle of Cities Money was Spent In had to be scrapped since Wordle considered the city and the state abbreviation to be two different words and refused to accept them as a single thing. I also had some issues with the word filter when it would filter out abbreviations that I actually wanted it to keep.

Tableau Public

I am extremely happy that Tableau provides a way for me to host my Tableau visualizations without having to create a Tableau server myself or pay them for access to the Tableau Cloud. I did sometimes have problems with the visualizations from the Tableau Public. Sometimes the visualizations would display but would not be fully loaded (a problem when the visualization is an interactive map) and other times the visualizations would not display at all. I am not sure why this is but this should be taken into consideration whenever working with Tableau Public.
